BRIGADIER GENERAL PAUL W. TIBBETS IV

Brigadier General Paul W. Tibbets IV retired in 2018 after nearly 30 years of service to the U.S. Air Force. His recent assignments:

Deputy Commander, Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) and Deputy Commander, Air Forces Strategic – Air, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. AFGSC provides strategic deterrence, global strike and combat support to USSTRATCOM and other geographic combatant commands.
Commander, 509^thBomb Wing, Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, where he led 8,500 people and managed a 25,000 acre installation to provide ready B-2 bomber forces for combat.
